Holy Week
Join us as we walk the final steps to Jerusalem, where a cross will always lead to an empty tomb.
Palm Sunday – April 13 – 9:30am & 11am Worship Center
Our kids will join us in both services during the first song after the welcome, walking through the worship center with palm branches as we sing Hosanna to the king! Kids will then have their own Palm Sunday worship in the Bubble, with an Easter Egg hunt and crafts for our preschool friends.
Easter Cantata – April 13 – 4:00 PM Traditional Sanctuary
We celebrate the story of Christ through song and scripture in this year’s cantata, “The Power of the Cross”! Join our choir for this Easter concert celebrating the resurrection.
Maundy Thursday – April 17 – Worship Center
Meal 5:45 PM – Worship 6:30 PM – Groups 7:40 PM
Bring your family and friends to our church-wide Maundy Thursday service with Recovery at Powell. Come for a welcoming family dinner and remembrance as we sit with Jesus, our Savior. Our scripture will offer us His heart as He washes the disciples’ feet. We will share in communion together as Jesus did with His followers. He loves us and He tells us we Belong. May we meet at His table! A children’s service will be available in the bubble and the youth will join us in the worship center.
Good Friday – April 18 – 7:30 PM Traditional Sanctuary
Good Friday is the day we reflect upon the brutal death of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and yet it’s the day that is called “good” – how can this be? Join us as we remember the loss that the cross brought and the hope we look for in the days ahead.
Easter Sunday – April 20 – 9:30am & 11am Worship Center
“It is the Lord!” Join us as we celebrate the day that makes every day matter. Kids will have Easter worship in the Bubble, while our youth will join us in the worship center. Christ is risen indeed!
